The eligibility criteria for VITLEE 2026 are

·      Must be Indian Nationals

·      Candidates born on or after July 1, 2004

·      Class 12 exam from recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Math/Biology. 70% aggregate marks (10% relaxation for SC/ST candidates and candidates from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern States of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

Students need to enter their personal, academic, and contact details when filling out the VITLEE application form, before the last date. Candidates must select their exam cities in order of preference. The VIT Law Entrance Exam 2026 application fee is INR 1,200.

The VITLEE 2026 registration process has closed. The application process that started on 30 November 2025, concluded on 12 April, 2026. The registration window was open online at the official website. 

The syllabus for VITLEE includes questions from five areas namely English, GK and current affairs, logical reasoning. The VITLEE exam will be held for admission to the Law courses offered at the Vellore Institute of Technology. The VITLEE 2026 exam is conducted in pen-and-paper mode.

The Vellore Institute of Technology Law Entrance Examination (VITLEE) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Law Programmes at VIT Chennai. VITLEE is conducted across 53 cities in India. It enrolls students in various undergraduate courses like; B.A. LLB, BBA L.L.B (Hons.), offered at the Chennai Campus. 

The admission process at NASM, Mumbai is entrance based for all courses. The academy conducts its own assessment to understand the aspirant's personality traits, academic goals and aims. The assessment is either a project submission or an interview or both. Hereafter, the candidate, if selected, must appear for a final interview.

BIMHRD Pune admission is entrance-based. The institute considers the Management state/ national-level entrance exam score for providing admission. As per the BIMHRD admission process, candidates are selected based on scores of entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, MAH CET, etc., followed by Group discussion and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

Balaji Institute of Modern Management, Pune offers admissions completely on the basis of merit and entrance, both. The institute requires entrance exam including MAT, XAT, ATMA, SBEST, MAH CET, CAT, CMAT to offer admission to the courses. In order to secure admission to BIMM Pune, candidates must fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria laid by the institute.

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute Mumbai offers admissions completely on the basis of merit and entrance, both. The institute requires entrance exam including MHT CET, JEE Main, GATE, MHTCET MTech, and MAH MCA CET to offer admission to the courses. In order to secure admission to VJTI Mumbai, candidates must fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria laid by the institute.

The Alagappa University Cutoff 2023 for the OBC AI category ranged from 33.75 to 78.88, as per the last round closing ranks. The cutoff was released in the form of opening and closing percentiles for the all categories under the All India quota. Among all the UG and PG-level courses, the most popular course for this category was MSc in Information Technology.
