That's a fantastic question! As a BiPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) student, you have a wealth of options at IISER Bangalore and IIT Madras. At IISER Bangalore, you can pursue a five-year BS-MS dual degree program, where you can major in Biology, Chemistry, or Earth and Environmental Sciences. At IIT Madras, you can apply for the four-year B.S. degree in Biological Sciences. These are excellent choices for a student with a BiPC background, offering a strong foundation in Science with opportunities for interdisciplinary studies and research.

No, you cannot take BITSAT in 2026 if you passed the 12th grade in 2024. The eligibility criteria for BITSAT allows candidates to appear only in the year they pass their 12th and the subsequent year. For VITEEE, you can appear in 2026 if you passed your 12th in 2024, as it allows candidates to appear in the year they passed or the following year,

For the 2024 B.Tech Civil Engineering batch, the average package was about INR 6.5 LPA, and the highest offer was close to INR 35 LPA. Placement was part of a campus-wide drive. However, placements in the core branch can rely heavily on CGPA, especially for students with a CGPA of 8.5 or higher, and participation in recruitment waves.

Admission to Loyola-ICAM College of Engineering and Technology (LICET) is competitive, with cutoffs for B.Tech programs are around the 42,000-44,000 range in recent years. For BE programs, the cutoffs can be  higher, reaching around 162,000-173,000. Admission is primarily through TNEA counseling for government quota seats, and direct application for management quota seats.

It's very difficult to get into Top NITs like NIT Trichy, Warangal and NIT Bhopal because these NITs generally have high cutoffs and competitive ranks with 95 percentile and rank 75689 it would be difficult if you are from general category but there may be chances if you are from reserved category like SC and ST category. With this percentile and rank you can surely get a low ranked NITs like NIT Patna, NIT Durgapur, NIT Mizoram, NIT Sikkim, NIT Raipur, and NIT Goa.

Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) is extra affordable for B.Tech if you get admission via country quota.

The total fee is around INR 5-8 lakh.

NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology is less expensive and most effective for Karnataka students through KCET.

For others, it could cost INR 10–19 lakh.
