The TNEA counseling is conducted by the Anna University. It is conducted for all colleges in Tamil Nadu, not only for ARM College of Engineering and Technology. The result date for the is usually decided from the TNEA schedule released officially by the Tamil Nadu Government. Generally, results are announced 2-3 months after the process has been started. For example, the process was started on 6th May 2024 and the results were announced on 13th August 2024. In 2025, the process was started on 7th May and the results are expected to be released by 1st week of July.

ARM College of Engineering and Technology offers MBA, BTech, and MTech courses. The basic eligibility criteria for each course require the student to have a minimum of 45% in the previous qualification. Along with this, the student needs to have a minimum valid score in TANCET, TNEA counseling, and GATE exam for admission to MBA, BTech, and MTech, respectively.
To apply through counseling, candidates are required to visit the official website of the exam counducting body and fill out the application form along with all the required documents and fees. If shortlisted, you will be called for further procedure.

B.E. / B.Tech is the most sought after course at ARM College of Engineering and Technology for many reasons. The highest package offered till now for BTech students is INR 12 LPA and the average package is around INR 3-4 LPA. Around 60% of the students get placed every year. The course curriculum is also industry relevant. Howver, the placement rate has been dropped after the Corona Pandemic.
