No, VITBEE is not required for MBA at VIT Vellore if a candidate has a valid score in CAT, MAT or XAT. Appearing in either one of these exams exempts candidates from appearing in any other exam for MBA admission.

VIT Vellore offers MBA as its flagship course. It is definitely worth choosing MBA at the institute. It is offered at the PG level for the duration of 2 years. MBA at VIT Vellore provides field based projects for hands-on-experience. The university conducts mandatory guest lectures by industry experts in each course. According to the MBA information brochure 2026-27 released by VIT, the highest package offered during VIT MBA placements in recent past was INR 18 LPA. In addition, 148 offers were made.

The Baseline is the strict academic merits -
- For UG courses, Indian students need an average of 80% to 85% in class 12th (CBSE, CISCE or the State Boards). Some of the competitive courses may need 85% to 90%

All Indian students who apply by the specified deadline at the Uni of Southern California are eligible to get the merit scholarship (UG level). These merit scholarships are awarded on the comprehensive, holistic review of students' profile. As such, there are no minimum eligibility requirements for USC merit scholarships. No USC merit scholarship covers the full cost of attendance.

If a candidate fails to submit the Modern College BA online merit form before the deadline, they will not be included in the regular seat allotment rounds. However, if any vacancies remain after the completion of the standard lists, the college may conduct an offline counselling round at the campus.
