The minimum GPA needed to be eligible for scholarships at West Virginia University is 2.75 on a 4.0. scale.

The Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is the closest international airport located near the West Virginia University. WVU students have the option to travel for free all across Morgantown, by displaying their student ID at one of the university maintained shuttle service facilities.

Yes, the West Virginia University campus offers the perfect blend of modern architectural marvel & the nature's beauty. The Morgantown campus is surrounded by a number of scenic mountains, parks, & lakes.
Some must-see tourist attractions in Morgantown includes: Caperton Trail, Morgantown Farmers Market, WVU Core Arboretum, Mountaineer Field & Dorsey's Knob Park among others.

The West Virginia University System accommodates three campuses, based in: Morgantown, Keyser & Beckley. While the Morgantown & Keyser campuses are located in close proximity to each other, the Beckley campus is based 273 km away from them.
The institute maintains a quality student environment at each of its campuses, offering access to some of the best state-of-the-art & research facilities.

Both institutions are very similar in terms of their selectiveness at admitting students, with, West Virginia University acceptance rate standing at 77%, while that of University of Rhode Island stands at 75%.
There isn't much between them & securing a seat at either institute is challenging to similar extents, with WVU, being marginally easier to secure admissions at.

WVU is a popular recruitment destination for some of the bets for-profit & non-profit organizations in the US & abroad. The university graduates are known for their highly-skilled & industry ready nature, & as a result are very much in the eyes of some major industry players.

Yes, the West Virginia University accepts GRE scores for admissions to some graduate courses, but the test score requirement varies with different courses.
Students enrolling in programs that requires GRE must send their scores via ETS before the review of admission application. The WVU institution code is 5904.
