The university offers admissions to various courses such as MA (foreign languages), BFA, MFA, MIRM, MHRM, MSc, BVoc, PGD Business Management, MCom, etc. through Departmental Tests i.e. candidates have to apply and appear for the test conducted by the concerned faculty. In some of the courses offered by the faculty members of AMU, there will be no admission test/ departmental test. The admissions for these courses will be based solely on qualifying examinations. The concerned department/faculty will share the qualifying examination and admission criteria with the applicants only.

- Plan out your study, mark your weaknesses, and have some leisure time as well.
- Read more and practice more. Read the newspaper daily.
- Practice maths and reasoning.
- Go through the past year's papers and mock tests.
- Revise and make a schedule of revising whatever you read throughout the week.
- Sit back and relax.
