With rank 17,845 in VITEEE, you have got an awesome chance of getting the CSE branch at VIT Chennai.
Many college students with comparable ranks were given CSE there.
So, sure — you can assume admission, however the charges can be slightly higher in those categories.

Sweet is unlikely that you get an government college for b tech in CSE with 70 percentile in JEE main because most of the NITs and IIT require higher percentile.
But you can look for some private universities mentioned below:-
- LPU
- Nehru Institute Of Technology
- Chandigarh University
- Assam down town University
- Bennett University
- Glocal University
- Pondicherry Engineering College
- SAGE University, Indore
- SRM University
Thank you

To NIT Puducherry CSE, since your percentile in JEE Main is 90, and since, moreover, you belong to the SC category, female, and home state candidate, you stand a good chance. The closing ranks have ranged between 19,562 (2022) and 29,725 (2024) based on the past years cutoffs of the SC Home State Female candidates of NIT Puducherry cutoffs at CSE. A 90 percentile ordinarily will represent a position between 101,352-112,695 (via 2024 data). Although your percentile is okay, change it into exact rank so that you have a better perspective. The most important thing is your rank in a specific category SC Home State Female, and, judging by t

With 80.70 percentile in JEE Main, you have a good chance of getting B.Tech CSE at MIT-WPU, Pune. The university accepts JEE scores and also conducts MIT-WPU CET. Since CSE is highly competitive, early application or opting for related branches like CSE (AI/ML) or IT can improve your chances. Your score is eligible for merit-based admission, though cutoffs may vary yearly.

If you've got 90 percentile in JEE and you're OBC, then yep, IIIT Manipur is definitely in the picture for CSE. Their cutoffs for OBC hover around 90–92 percentile most years, so you're right there. Just don't skip the later JoSAA rounds, they're lowkey your best shot. Keep a couple backup colleges ready too, but fingers crossed, you're sitting in IIIT classes soon.

It is unlikely to get Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at NIT Trichy or NIT Surathkal with a 94.54 percentile in JEE Main Jan 2025, especially under the ST category. While 94.54 percentile is a good score, top NITs like Trichy and Surathkal have very high cutoffs for CSE, typically requiring percentiles above 99.5, even for reserved categories.
High Demand for CSE:
CSE is a highly sought-after branch in NITs, and the cutoffs for this branch are generally very competitive.
Top NITs:
NIT Trichy and NIT Surathkal are among the top NITs, known for their strong academic programs and placements, especially in CSE.

Yes, Government Engineering College, Karwar normally has an admission to its B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering course through lateral entry. The mode ensures that the students holding diploma, in a course related to engineering, can directly enter the second year of the B.E. course, and thus the course from this mode takes 3 years. It is usually at the state level--after clearing lateral entry entrance exams (such as the Diploma Common Entrance Test - DCET in Karnataka) and other eligibility criteria, which normally involve a minimum aggregate percentage in your diploma.
