Nope, it's not the only option to opt for CSE course as we have many choices like writing our own state exams (eg:EAMCET etc.) and qualifying in it, applying to colleges directly based on our eligibility!

With 86.9 percentile in MHT-CET and aiming for CSE, you can get admission in good private colleges but not top government ones. Possible options include DY Patil College of Engineering Pune, MIT-WPU, PCCOE, Sinhgad College of Engineering, and Sanjivani College of Engineering. You may also get CSE in colleges like JSPM's Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering or Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Pimpri. Government colleges may offer CSE only if cutoff drops in later rounds. Your chances improve if you belong to OBC, NT, or female category and use home university quota effectively.

It has a fairly large number of placements and some very good packag

CU's on-campus recruitment for CSE students is quite favourable. The university has equipped students with labs, project work, and IBM-sponsored certifications, which help them during the hiring process. Because CSE with specialisations (like Data Science, AI/ML, Cloud) is offered, recruiters often target students who have exposure to the latest tools and technologies. The placement cell organises mock interviews, coding boot camps, and resume review sessions to help students become more confident. Student batches are large, giving recruiters multiple candidates to choose from.

Also, CU's engineering wing being ranked 31 in NIRF 2025 he
