First a few points:There are no universities (Govt. or otherwise) in India that specialize in Game Design or Development alone. There are a few like Image College of Arts, Animation & Technology in Chennai, check it out. There are currently no major game making companies in India and it will be very hard to find a well paying job if that is your thing. The gaming industry is very vast with major players from all over the world (I don't think I need to state their names) so it will be a very challenging and risky field. So buck up!
There are two parts in making a game, Game Design where you do all the character design, level design, art work, animation and such and then there is Game Programming where you take care of the AI involved in the game and also make your own Game Engine (if you really want to; there is no need though). So there are two paths you can choose but no one is stopping you from going in both of them.

M.Tech in Robotics engineering provides a deep knowledge in the areas of robotics engineering by covering electro mechanics, robotics sensors and instrumentation, robotics fabrication, artificial intelligence and robotic vision. Eligibility Criteria:
For Bachelor Courses: You can apply for a Bachelors degree (B.Tech) in Robotics Engineering after passing 12th Science examination. Candidates must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in the 12th standard. For Master Courses: To apply for master degree (ME/M.Tech), students must have a Bachelors degree (B.E/B.Tech) or any other related branches of engineering. B.Tech /BE in Electronics /Mechanical /Electrical /Computer Science and Engineering/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering are eligible to take admission in M.Tech programme.
