No, Maths is not compulsory for DCA course, but some subject might have the use of Maths. In DCA course, you will learn about fundamental of computer and it, Ms office, Ms access, Page Maker and Photoshop, Internet and web page designing.

There is no need of DCA for Madhya Pradesh Patwari exam, if you are from computer Science background.

The JNU MCA Entrance syllabus shall consists of 10+2/Graduate Level Mathematics, Probability, General Aptitude and Reasoning.

In first one, every subject of CSE like Operating System, Networks will be taught to you. But, in other one courses specific to cloud computing technology will be taught.

Candidate must have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Bio -Technology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer Science as optional subjects. The above-mentioned percentage is for the above subjects taken together. Must have also English as one of the languages of study. Candidates who have passed from Karnataka State Open University are not eligible to apply.
