To switch your stream, you have to give particular subject entrance. Like in GATE to switch branches the respective branch exam should be given in order to pursue Masters in that. I hope you got the idea.

Both are professional courses but CS is software field oriented and MBA Is management oriented study so it depends on whether you want to enter the management field or the software field because both have good scope and job opportunities. And for a rough idea your salary depends on your skills and perfection in your work not just by a course.

Hi, If coding and technical domain is where you want to be, go for MCA. If making a career in management field interests you more, then MBA (IT, or any other stream) is an ideal choice. Both are rewarding and unique in their own ways, so take a wise decision.

Hey,
It depends on your choice that is what you like the most. If you have an interest in computer and programming, you can go for MCA and if you want to join business trade then MBA would be better.

M.Sc CS will boost your career and make you eligible for various governmental job opportunities in software engineering field but if you don't continue your CS study then you can choose other branches or study. Good luck.
