It depends on how well you have studied in your UG, and PG. I mean, how easily you can gasper the concepts. If your UG & PG courses are irrelevant and you are writing NET based on your PG subject, then you need approximately 1 year for NET preparations. If your degree & PG are similar and you are attending NET based on the same streams, then 6 months of preparation is enough. But, you have to be much focused, prepare notes by yourself, and study without diverting your mind.
