Hi,
The most important prerequisite before one chooses to become an ethical hacker is to ace computer networking knowledge:
. Expertise in at least one application like Java or C+.
. Knowledge of the functioning of UNIX.
. One should have an analytical approach and should probe every functioning with a critical bent of mind.
Take up a UG degree like BCA or BCS.
You can undergo a certificate/ diploma programme in ethical hacking to Learn. These certifications like Ankit Fadia Certified Ethical Hacker and Certified Ethical Hacker run by EC-Council are not approved by any university but there is no alternate and reliable bet in the market. The

do you plan to do an MTech after doing tour BTech in IT? if so, then I must say that this would be a better option. But, if you have a willingness to learn and want to save year as well, MCA after BCA can also get you a good career, depending on your learning of Programming and extra things

It is extremely difficult to get into top 7 colleges through this score if you are an OMS candidate. Some options which you have are Indira, Pune and MIT, Pune. Both these colleges had a cut-off of around 93 percenttile last year.
