Details of BCA from IGNOU:
Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
The basic objective of the programme is to open a channel of admission for computing courses for students, who have done the 10+2 and are interested in taking computing/IT as a career.
After acquiring the Bachelor's Degree (BCA) at IGNOU, there is further educational opportunity to go for an MCA at IGNOU or Master's Programme at any other University/Institute. Also after completing BCA Programme, a student must be able to get entry level job in the field of Information Technology or ITES.
Qualification: 10+2 or its equivalent.
Duration: 3 years minimum and 6 year

If you really want to do good in computers and want to be a true software engineer then go for b.tech in computer science and engineering from a good technical college. it will take 4 years and you will have good practical / lab exposure of different programming languages and operating systems. the placement chances will be high too as compared to bca course. math weakness is not an obstacle in your engg study as it is studied for 1 or 2 semesters only out of total 8 semester. so check out your other options too as engg will be somehow costlier than bca but it will helpful for you to develope a scientific approach towards life. best of
