ELIGIBILITY
Passed B.C.A/B.Sc. in Computer Science/B.Sc. in Information Technology/B.Sc in Computer Technology/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent or a degree from a University recognized or certified by UGC/SRMIST/AIU
OR
Passed B.Sc./B.Com./B.A. from a University recognized/certified by UGC/SRMIST/AIU with Mathematics at the 10+2 level or the graduation level.
A minimum percentage of marks/CGPA as prescribed by the SRMIST.
Notwithstanding the above, actual admissions will be based on the rules and regulations of the UGC/AICTE/any other competent authorities.

A pass in a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with Mathematics as one of the subjects either in the degree level or in the +2 level.

It is very good for a person who further wants to make his/her future in field of computer programming and software developing. A person with BCA degree can easily get job in the big IT companies. A BCA student can also go for further studies like for MCA or MBA. It is worth doing if u do it from a good college.
The BCA is an undergraduate degree course in computer applications for duration of 3 years
