JEE Main vs CUET Top B.Tech Colleges 2025. JEE Main scores are valuable for admission to top engineering colleges in India. Whereas, CUET scores are useful for admission to several other central and state universities. So if you want to write cuet you can definitely write that for a side scope or for a safer second option to get it.

The CUET score plays a critical role in the seat allotment process for universities. After the results are announced, universities use the normalized CUET scores to prepare merit lists for various courses. The score helps determine a candidate's rank, which is then used in the counselling or seat allocation process. Higher scores increase the chances of securing a seat in preferred universities and courses, while lower scores may reduce options. Other factors like reservation policies and seat availability also influence seat allotment.
