University & College – Top universities like Delhi University, BHU, JNU generally require much higher CUET scores for BA (often above 500–600 for popular courses).
2. Course Popularity – BA in English, Economics, Political Science usually has higher cutoffs. Less popular subjects (like Sanskrit, Philosophy, or certain regional language courses) often have lower cutoffs.

No, National Fire Service College is not a participating university of CUET. National Fire Service College shortlists candidates based on the entrance exam, i.e., JEE (Main) 2025 Paper-I. The candidates applied through the online admission portal shall be scrutinised based on the scores in JEE (Mains) Paper-I, and the percentile scores of the candidate in the respective Board of Education will be called in a proportionate ratio decided by the competent authority based on the CRL Rank provided by NTA in the JEE (Mains) 2025.
