It depends upon the courses. Only a few courses require entrance others are allotted on merit basis. Kindly mention the course for which entrance are you looking for.

No college of DU provides biotechnology course instead there are some courses like B.Sc and B.Sc (H) in biomedical sciences.

First of all, BCA is computer science based course so mathematics is extremely important for CS background. And DU does not offer BCA courses. If you are from commerce with mathematics background, you can opt for better course in DU that is B.Sc (H) computer science.

The cut-offs are on the basis of examination and average range of results among students. If there are a high number of students getting 98% then it is possible that cut-offs will go high and DU may close cutoffs even after 3 list, of specific courses If the seats are full. For reservations category, cut-offs are less and it can be around 80-85% and it may reduce further if the number of candidates is less. It all depends upon number of seats remaining.
