Probably yes, it is compulsory, but there will be many students who would be from non-biology background, but still they do. If you are good at learning, then you will learn it. So, don't worry about it.

The eligibility to get admission in IIAD is 10+2. And, you have done UG, so you can check the eligibility. I think you can apply for it.

Yes there are a lot of colleges offering B.Des/M.Des in transportation design. Some of the top colleges include:
1. MID Institute of Design
2. Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay
3. National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad
4. Department of Design, IIT Guwahati
5. Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi
These institutes conduct entrance exams in two stages, General ability test and Creative Ability test. The admissions are purely based on your score secured in the entrance exam.
