This institute gives admissions based on the ranking of JEE Advanced. Diploma holders too can apply since diploma is considered equivalent to 12th. But no lateral admission.

After 10th, if you want to go for Diploma then you have to appear in Diploma ENTRANCE TEST ( DET). On the basis of your obtained rank, you can participate in counselling conducted by state technical board. And college will be alloted to you. Above is the process for government.
