Hi Syed,
I am assuming that you wish to become a Commercial Pilot and not an Air Force Pilot. The minimum eligibility to take this course is completing 16 years of age, passed 12th with Physics and Maths as subjects and cleared Class- I & Class-II medical. If you clear the minimum eligibility criteria then there are three steps upon completing them you will get a Commercial Pilot License:
1. Student Pilot License- You need to take ground training and clear oral and written exams of Air Regulations, Aviation Meteorology, Air Navigation Air Technical.
The very first thing I suggest you is to clear the Class-II medical test.
2. Private Pilot License- After getting the SPL, you proceed, for initial flying training. This is a dual flight, where the instructor or trainer accompanies the learner to teach him/her the practical aspect of flying. A total of 60 hours of flying is needed, of which 20 hours minimum should be solo and five hours cross country.
3. Commercial Pilot License-A student can get the CPL by doing his flying training for 250 hours which includes night and cross country flying.
Cost- The approximate cost is around 20lakh -25lakh in India for the entire course.
There are various Flying Clubs that Provide the CPL course and I suggest you to go for Government Institutes only.

Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) under Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) offers the job of Technical Assistant to these diploma holders. One can draw a salary between Rs. 9, 300 and Rs. 38, 000/- per month in this job. Those who have completed Diploma in Aeronautics can also pursue their career as Technician Apprentice in Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). They are paid around Rs. 3, 000/- per month. Air Craft division in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) recruit diploma holders to the post of Diploma Trainees. Emoluments offered for a Diploma Trainee in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is Rs. 9250/- (exclusive of Dearness Allowance). These diploma holders can also join as Technical Assistant in National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) where a salary of Rs. 27, 900/- is offered.
Public and private sector airlines like Air India, Jet Airways and Kingfisher Airlines offer the job of Technician to these diploma holders with a salary package ranging from Rs. 90, 000/- to Rs. 3, 00, 000/- per annum.
Diploma holders who possess 8 to 10 years of experience in the field of Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering can even get into the post of Technician in National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) where in a salary up to Rs. 10, 00, 000/- per annum is offered.
