Yes because I have a friend who is attending Mcgill from 2015 to 2019 and studying computer Science there. SEE if his profile is of any help to you. He scored 90+ in his class 12 board exams. His 11th scores were less (about 78%) but that's okay coz they are more interested in you final marks. His SAT was 2200, SAT Subject tests were 800/800 in Physics and Maths and he had a good extra curricular profile- he did MUN's, was part of rotaract club. He got an aid of 20k canadian dollars in his first year and the aid is more generous in the following years. The tuition fees in mcgill are around 36k. Good luck.

The latest cutoff of the St. Aloysius degree College is 27283, the college is affiliated to Mangalore university But now they applied for university status. If they get this status then no doubt the college will be totally a rubbish college.
Also, the Government report shows us that the college is not running well because in 2022 it was in the first 100 of NIRF ranking, after that it has not been in the lists of 2018,2019, and 2020.
Do not fall in the names of St Aloysius, Jesuit institution, etc they are all a big trap. they cannot be equal to other Jesuit institutions like St Xaviers and St Stephens because they are responsible to stud

Which branch you are from and your reservation category decides how much percentage you need to get in SPCE, Andheri.
At least you have to be above 90% just to ensure any possibility, but every year the cutoff changes . Sometimes it goes high or remains at the same.
I was admitted in Electrical Engg in the second year after my diploma marks 89% with OBC category.
Now, it is been 4 years. According to me you should have at least 92 to 93%.

No, every year nearly 1.20 lac candidates appear for Jexpo exam and there are few polytechnic govt. colleges that too require a good rank (5000 approx)
So, from my personal experience I can suggest you wait till 3rd round counselling (though I am not assuring you about your chances of getting a seat at govt polytechnic. Chances are very much less)
Instead of that, I suggest you focus on your preparation and next year try to score a decent rank within 3000(general) to get a govt college.
