Yes, Diploma holders are eligible for MHT CET to get admission into the first year or lateral entry of engineering courses. MHT CET Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Technology course: Candidates must have passed the HSC (10+2) or equivalent exam with Physics and Math as compulsory subjects with any one of the subjects Chemistry Biotechnology, Biology Technical, Computer Science, IT, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, Technical Vocational subject or Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology. Students must have secured a min of 45 percent marks for the General Category and the min mark for the Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste, and Persons with Disabilitystudents belonging to Maharashtra State only 40 percent marks. Or Students must have passed the Diploma in Engineering and Technology with at least 45 percent aggregate marks for the General category and at least 40 percent aggregate marks for Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste, and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only. Or Students must have passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised university with at least 45 percent aggregate marks for the General category and at least 40 percent aggregate marks for Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste, and Persons with Disability categories belonging to Maharashtra State only.
