Hello Kanak Walunj, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your graduation in engineering after completion of your Diploma. No, you need not go in for MH-CET. You can seek admission in COEP directly into second year by way of lateral admission process. You just need to score as high as possible in your Diploma exam since admissions under lateral mode are based on results if Diploma examination. Best wishes to you.

Yes,you can take admission in any engineering college after successfully completing your Diploma from any college.There are several Eligibility criteria :-A). Passed Diploma examination with at least 45% (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of engineering and Technology.
B). Passed B.Sc. Degree from recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks((40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 Examination with Mathematics as a subject.

YES, You can take admission in any engineering college after successfully completing your Diploma from any college.
As, Most of the engineering colleges in India require a 60% aggregate in 3-year diploma (Engineering any stream) after class 10 board exam.In 2020, AICTE(All India Council Of Technical Education) publish a notice regarding this, according to this notice Diploma Qualified student can take lateral entry(2nd year) admission under Engineering and Technology courses. Hi, yes definitely you can seek admission in IIT. You just need to have obtained 75% or more marks in your Diploma to be basically eligible. Then of course you need to appear for JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced examination and also be in higher bracket of ranking to have reasonably good chances of getting admission in an IIT.
