Generally No. Because the inter transfer in most of the Diploma colleges are permissible after completion of first year only. However you may contact to desired college regarding this for more clarity.

Distance engineering diploma and degree courses are not valid as per AICTE guidelines for employment and higher studies purpose. Hence never be pursue.

Hello!
As per my experience I would say that yes, Maths forms an integral part of Engineering. You will be studying Maths during your initial two years after that opting for maths is your choice. I had same concern during my initial days of engineering, But I am glad to say that faculty at my engineering college,i.e. Lovely Professional Uniersity, helped me a lot and Maths became one of the easy to handle subject for me. Curriculum at LPU is designed in such way that it even caters the basics of any subject. Faculty are at help when ever you need them. In my opinion, It's Better to do MCA course after BCA. As Any certification course is not going to help you a lot after BCA. So I suggest you prepare for the NIMCET exam along with Your BCA.
