The IRT conducts the following Three(3) One Year Diploma Courses and One Two Year Diploma Course through correspondence as under.
1. RAIL TRANSPORT AND MANAGEMENT (RTM)
2. MULTI-MODAL TRANSPORT (CONTAINERIZATION) & LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT (MMT)
3. TRANSPORT ECONOMICS & MANAGEMENT (TEM)
4. PORT DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT (PDM)
Eligibility: Candidates having a Bachelor's Degree or a Diploma in any Engineering Discipline from a recognized University/Institute are eligible.Admission process: The Prospectus for all the Diploma Courses can be obtained from the institute on payment of Rs 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) EACH by Cash or by post by remittance through crossed Demand Draft in Favour of the Institute of Rail Transport and payable at New Delhi along with an envelope (11"x5") self-addressed to write their name and address and also the course name at the back of the demand draft when apply for prospectus etc.

The Continuing education programs of NIFT may the best option for you. The admission in courses are done through the concerned NIFT center. These programmes reflect the requirements and concerns of the industry and have been carefully planned to spur professional growth, relevant to individuals at different stages of their careers, and also to those aspiring to join the industry. The participants receive a NIFT
certificate on successful completion of the programme. The various type of CE programs are available in Fashion design of one year duration, Few of them are listed below.
1. Fashion & Clothing Technology (FCT)
2. Fashion Integration for Textiles (FIT)
3. Fashion Retail Management (FRM)
4. Fashion Knitwear Production and Technology (FKPT)
5. Fashion Design & Clothing Technology (FDCT)
