No, pursuing distance M.Tech in India is not valid in India as per the Supreme Court of India. The degree can be done in regular mode only. UGC, DEB, and AICTE have not approved this degree programme in a distance mode of education.

No, the Distance courses for M.Tech is not valid as it was declared by Supreme Court.
For this you can do part time M.Tech part time from IIT.

M.Tech distance education is valid or not. M.Tech distance education has been declared illegal by the Supreme Court of India and the AICTE. So never be pursue. Please find out some AICTE approved colleges near to you offering M.Tech regular in part time mode
