Hi,
According to UGC guidelines, you have to do only one course at a time either a regular one or a distance, one you cannot do two UG courses at a same time. So, if you want to do BA in psychology, then you would have to forego one your current course B.Pharma.

Correspondence or distance BE/B.Tech are not valid as per AICTE guidelines. Hence never be pursue. BE/B.Tech lateral or part-time with AICTE approved Institutes are the best available options. AMIE is another good option if you can pursue it.

Yes, the degree received from distance mode of learning is valid for jobs in both the public as well as the private sectors. However, it depends on the job role you are applying since the job opportunities are limited. Yes, you can definitely pursue BA Degree course in the field of English.

Osmania University for sure, it has a great history. OU is not about great placements or Education standards, but the values of complete. Rangarao Sankara, B.A. , B. L. Economics, Andhra University College of Sciences (1997). With a great reputation of attracting international students in master's degree and research. How to have an M.A. Economics degree through distance learning.

Yes, Distance education has more value than regular courses, it also depends on various other situations. If you have experience and you are pursuing higher education in the same line to enhance your degree, then it does count. For higher education people are mostly doing through distance education.
