Eligibility for MFA in Applied Arts
Candidates aspiring for admission to the course are required to fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria.
BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) or another such equivalent course in a relevant discipline.
A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.
Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply for the course on provisional basis.
Preferably, a relevant professional work experience, as most reputed institutes prefer candidates with work experience.

BFA is an integrative course having duration of 3-4 years. It is also known as BVA which is an abbreviated form of Bachelor of Visual Arts. Thecourse can be pursued either as a Full-Time Graduate Course or Part-Time Graduate Course I.e. through Correspondence or Distance Education depending upon one's choice. There are two aspect of this question. One is around IGNOU and another is around distance education. IGNOU is trusted and accredited government distance education university. They are approved by UGC, AICTE both. So there is no question of the validity of degree awarded by IGNOU now or in future. Second aspect is around distance education. Yes it is true that degrees from open universities not considered for all types of jobs or vacancies. 10 15 years earlier, most of government jobs demand about regular courses. Admission Process
Entrance Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Test conducted by the Centre for Distance and Open Learning (CDOL).
Counselling
Admission is through counseling based on the marks obtained in Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Test.

Hello Dashank, It's very nice to hear from you that after completion of your Diploma in Electrical Engineering in 2018 you are now interested for doing your graduation in engineering. However you have mentioned that you want to do it through distance education. Let me advise you at this juncture that UGC has banned professional courses including engineering from being offered by universities via distance education mode. Acharya Nagarjuna University doesn't offer M.Tech in any engineering subjects on distance education. It offers master courses in arts, commerce, LIS, PG diplomas, LAW, science, computer science, and management courses only. All the best for your future.
