Distance/Correspondence

You are a mining engineer and your desire is to do M.Tech in mining, but via distance education. You are already a mining engineer and hence I am sure you know how much practical training is required especially for this branch of engineering. I will perhaps say that this is one of the most intensive practical oriented branch of engineering. With this in background, I will say that there are very few Institutions which offer this course at post-graduation level. Since giving practical knowledge particularly at M.Tech level becomes a bit difficult. However I am attaching a link that will give you the places where you can do M.Tech in mining engineering. Once you do this you can pick out the places where it is available in distance education mode also and have a correspondence with them. I will however give you a word of caution that please ensure that the college which is offering you this is indeed attached to organized University and is current with their syllabus.
