Hello, Yes, there are chances, that many job opportunities will not consider your distance degree. But, government jobs are open for any kind of degree, whether regular or distance. And, chances increases when you are working while studying. So, at the time of passing, you'll have 3 year of work experience with that. And, so value of your degree and knowledge would be considered in other jobs as well.

If you ethically & sincerely complete a course, correspondence / regular doesn't matter. It all depends on what the course curriculum is and what you have learnt. Different employers have a different take on correspondence courses. Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge, correspondence course degree / Diploma holders are given a pass. If you are good, you can always challenge the employer.

In order to promote Distance Education in India, the Distance Education Council (DEC) has decided that students can now pursue two-degree programmes simultaneously. The council also said that students can pursue two programmes simultaneously through a combination of distance and regular modes.
However, the two-degree programme cannot be pursued through regular modes, reported a leading daily. Hello Darpan,
There are plenty of compelling reasons to pursue BA through correspondence. Many people are working and cannot join college hence this is best for them. Housewives can study in their free time. It's perhaps cheaper than going to a regular college. But fundamentally one must have desire to learn.
