It could have been beneficial to take degree while working in the same field but as your question is self-explanatory when one reads the last two words. More benefit comes when you get exposure directly along with the degree. If that does. It happen complete benefits cannot be and should not be expected.

Any correspondence hybrid programme will add value to your programme, if you are working in that industry, or if you are seeking a switch. Hybrid programs are for people who are working and do not want to take full time programme. Welingkar is known for quality education and you will find it worth. But, a Hybrid PGDM is not valued much. Instead take part time three years Masters (MS) from Welingkar. It will have much more value than the correspondence hybrid programme. MS would be affiliated by University of Mumbai.
