Eligible Qualification : A candidate should have passed any Degree (UG) and should have secured not less than 45% of the total marks in the aggregate. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe communities should have secured not less than 40% of the total marks in the aggregate of all subjects.
Selection criteria : Admission to the three year LL.B.[Hons.] courses to be made only on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and following the rules of reservation of the State.

028 and also from the Principals of the affiliated Law Colleges by paying prescribed fee. Candidates
seeking application by post are informed to send a requisition letter, mentioning the course to which they are
willing to apply, along with requisite fee, to the Chairman, Law Admissions 2020-21.
Only those candidates who have attended the counselling session conducted by the Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University and got allotment will be permitted to join for admission in the affiliated Government Law Colleges.

Degree Course offered in the affiliated Government Law Colleges can obtain the application form in-person by paying the prescribed fee, from The Registrar, The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Poompozhil, No.5, Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Salai, Chennai 600 028. Application forms can also be obtained in-person from the Principals of all affiliated Government Law Colleges and Saraswathy Law College (Private) at Tindivanam.
The candidates desirous to get application by post can obtain the application form by submitting a

MODE OF PAYMENT OF APPLICATION FEE: The candidates shall remit the prescribed application processing fee in any branch of Indian Bank through remittance challan which may be downloaded from the University website or obtained from any one of the affiliated Government Law Colleges.

The Applicants applying through online, need not send the downloaded application. They are required to download and print the application and submit along with all other requisite documents with original at the time of counselling for admission.
MODE OF SELECTION: Candidates applying for admission to the above mentioned Government Law Colleges will be ranked according to the marks obtained by them in the qualifying examinations and on the basis of communal and special reservations.
Selection for the candidate applying for LL.B., Degree Course will be based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in aggregate of all subjects in the qualifying degree examination.
