The admission in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs are based on the ranks obtained in JEE Main. Your JEE Main marks are not enough to get NITs.

AP EAMCET and JEE syllabi are based on the Class 11 and Class 12 curriculum. The topics included in the syllabus will be almost similar in both exams. However, there will be changes in the weightage given to the various topics. If you are preparing for both exams, you can compare the syllabus and do the studies.

With a rank of 29.7k in VITEEE 2021, you have somewhat chances of securing CSE, CSE (specialisation), ECE or IT in Category 2 or 3. In Category 1, you may have low chances of getting these branches. You can check the official website of VIT University for more information on the cutoff for the year 2023. Let me know if you have any other questions.

IIITs are difficult to get. While admission in IITs are based on JEE Advanced ranks so participate in JEE Advanced if qualified in JEE Main. Tryout Sastra Thanjavur or JIIT Noida on the basis of your 12th marks.

The admission process for National Institutes of Technology (NITs) in India is based on various factors, including the JEE Main scores. However, the cutoff percentile for admission to NITs can vary each year and is different for different categories. While a 96 percentile is a good score, it does not guarantee admission to any specific NIT. The admission process also considers factors such as the number of available seats, the total number of applicants, and the category-wise cutoffs. These factors can fluctuate from year to year.
