The GATE 2024 registration window opened on 30 August 2023. Candidates must check GATE 2024 eligibility criteria before filling out the GATE 2024 application form. The application form is available online at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The GATE 2024 exam will be conducted by IISc Bangalore. - General Aptitude - 15 marks
- Engineering Mathematics - 13 marks
- Subject-specific questions - 72 marks

GA questions carry a total of 15 marks. The GA section includes 5 questions of 1 mark each (sub-total 5 marks) and 5 question of 2 marks each (sub-total 10 marks). Apart from GA section which is compulsory, the GG question paper consists of two parts namely Part A and Part B. Part A is compulsory for all the candidates. Part B contains two sections: Section 1 (Geology) and Section 2 (Geophysics). Candidates have to attempt questions in Part A and questions in either Section 1 or Section 2 of Part B. Dear aspirant you can't change your category as JoSAA will automatically take your details from JEE Mains Website!I will suggest you that If you don't have your reserved category Certificate for EWS category right now then you can submit the undertaking which declares that you will submit the original and valid caste Certificate later on at the time of admission.
