VITEEE is conducted as a computer-based test at different exam cities. The question paper will have a total of 125 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, Aptitude and English. The students will have to complete the exam within 2 hours and 30 minutes. If we break the questions section-wise, then Physics and Chemistry will have 35 questions each, Aptitude will have 10 questions and English will have 5 questions. However, Maths will have 40 questions. Every correct answer will be given one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

It is not possible to accurately predict the seat (branch+college) you will get in WBJEE counseling with just your JEE Main percentile. Your WBJEE rank is determined by your performance in the WBJEE exam, which has a different marking scheme and difficulty level than JEE Main. It is recommended that you check the previous year's opening and closing ranks of colleges and branches you are interested in to get an idea of the expected rank range for admission.
