For getting into PSUs with GATE Electronics and Communication Engineering you need to get a rank below 200. And for this rank, you must score at least 750 in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering exam.

It depends on your interests and what you want for a career. If you choose a PSU, you will receive a decent package ranging from INR 10 LPA to INR 30 LPA as well as a secure job, but your career growth will be limited. The A.M.E. CEE Examination is a national level entrance exam that allows students who envision a career and have an interest in the aviation sector to choose the best career option for them. A.M.E. CEE will only organize and administer the online exam and will provide up to 100% scholarship based on their All-India Rank (AIR) for A.M.E. CEE 2023. Candidates who qualify for the A.M.E. CEE 2023 examination and wish to work in the aviation industry are eligible for admission to one of India's best A.M.E. Aeronautical Engineering, and Aerospace Engineering colleges or institutes with up to 100% scholarship. The A.M.E. CEE 2023 examination will be conducted once a year in an online and offline mode for the 12th PCM and 3 years engineering Diploma candidates.

The GATE is a national-level exam which is conducted in India that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various UG subjects in engineering and Science for admission into the M.E. /M.Tech. Ph.D. programme and Job in PSUs. However, the GATE exam is not conducted for JRF. The NTA has been entrusted by the UGC with the task of conducting UGC NET which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for Assistant Professor and JRF and Assistant Professors in Indian colleges and universities.
