Overall, WBJEE is considered moderately tough. Level of syllabus is similar to 12th standard qualifying exam. Therefore, students who are well prepared for their board exams are likely to score well in WBJEE.

WBJEE application form will not be available offline. Candidates will have to register online at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee to participate in WBJEE 2026 exam. Offline applications will not be accepted.

No, there is no provision for conducting WBJEE twice a year. WBJEEB has always conducted WBJEE as an annual one day examination. If there is any change in exam pattern, it will be announced online.

Yes, students can get admission in IIT Roorkee without JEE scores. But, this is possible for non-BTech courses, such as MSc, MBA, M.Arch, BArch, etc. If students are seeking BTech admission, then JEE scores are mandatory.

Yes, UV Patel College of Engineering accepts JEE Main marks for taking admission in the BE/BTech courses. The college also accepts score from GUJCET exam for BTech admissions. Candidates have to undergo counselling and fill the application form of college.

PEIT BTech cutoff 2025 was published for admission to various specialisations.  B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering had a last round cutoff of  935963 for the General AI quota.
