If course few seats are reserved for those outside Maharashtra under All India Quota. But these seats are very few in numbers, but filled up based on JEE Mains results. Hello Digambar, national testing agency has declared results of JEE Mains. They have also declared cutoff in terms of percentile for general and each catagory. This information is available readily on their website. I too can tell this if you can tell me your son's percentile and catagory. Hello Dinesh, invariably every state has some or the other entrance exam for admitting students to engineering colleges in that state. Some States have decided to use scores of JEE Mains for giving admissions. If your state has this then you can get admission based on this score. There is one more option. Many state have all India quota that is filled up based on JEE Mains score. But information about number of seats under this quota is released very late. Hello, every state has right to form its own rules of admission particularly for government colleges or government aided colleges. Hence if Tamil Nadu government insists on nativity rules, nothing can be done about this. We all have to just accept it as it is. However if I may ask, why insist on Tamil Nadu colleges via TNEA.
