The department of Computer Science is one of the core departments of The NorthCap University offering B.Tech, MTech and PhD Programs. It was established in year 1996. Keeping In view the dynamic nature of growth In Industry and the Increasing demand for latest technologies, the Department is offering specializations in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber security and Forensics, Full Stack Development, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Gaming, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. These new specializations are implemented via experiential project-based learning - while working on the student's core attitude, skills and knowledge based on industry standards.

As per the admissions 2020 The Eligibility for B.Tech is 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST and moreover LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI.
