As the Pattern has changed, you should have some tips, a proper plan, schedule.

Rank depends on the category and cut off of that particular year result.

First, you should get your basics clear. For that read the theory, clear your concepts. You can refer to HC Verma for basics. Then you should practice different questions. I found book By BM Sharma from Engage Publication very useful. Also keep giving mock tests continuously. Try solving a variety of questions.

At least 105 marks in WBJEE. For more assurance, try for 120.

As per the Physics syllabus, weightage of JEE Main the important chapters are: Waves, Simple Harmonic Motion, Units and Dimensions, Rotational Motion, and Newton's Laws of Motion from class 11th. The important topics from class 12th are Electrostatics, Magnetism, Current Electricity, Optics, Modern Physics.

For outside Delhi students, atleast a rank under 20K is required in CRL for a good branch.

It would be better ti prefer VIT or SRM. I would suggest you to not take a drop.

You must have science in your class 12th from any recognized board and must have secured 75% in the board exams.

For that, you need to clear Mains as well as Advance.
