Now 15 questions will decide turn the things bit difficult and may be MCQs may also be asked with double concept like JEE Advanced. Appear exam happily as you have two attempts for JEE Mains Exam and difficulty level is same for all aspirants. Consider the fact that number of questions have been decreased within the same time span according to updated JEE Main Paper Pattern. Level of JEE Main was never easy so now also it won't be but average time for a single question has been increased. One more thing do not leave any numerical answer type question unattemp

For JEE Mains 2020 marking scheme will be as follow:
For JEE Mains Paper1
Each correct answer will carry 4 marks. On the contrary 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer (for MCQs only) and there is no negative marking for numerical answer type questions. JEE Main Exam Pattern for Paper 2 (B.Arch. /B. Planning).
Same as Paper 1 only 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer. There is no negative marking for numerical answer type questions. For B.Arch (part 3) Drawing- 2 questions will be evaluated out of 100 marks. Note: There will be no marking for unanswered questions.

The major update about JEE Mains 2020 is as fellow-
The registrations which were scheduled from 2nd sept 2019 started a day late from 3rd sept 2019. Moreover, NTA JEE Main released the information bulletin which disclosed the changes in exam pattern and marking scheme. Now JEE Mains Exam is of 300 marks (Paper 1)
Number of questions have been decreased. Now there will be only 75 questions instead of 90 to be solved within 3 hours. Icing on the cake, which I know many students would not like is the addition of 5 questions NAT I. e. their answer would be a numerical value. Hope it helps.
