Hello,
It all depends, like if you do not have 75% marks class 12th, then in order for being eligible for admission through IIT JEE, you have to take the improvement exam. So, if you have score more than 75% marks, then there is no need for giving improvement in all the 5 subjects, as you are already eligible for JEE exam. Thank you.

The ranks might increase or decrease but that is difficult to predict since they vary based on many factors. Hence you need to wait until they are officially released.

Hello,There can be comparison with the previous year and current year cut off as they vary depending on many factors such as number of candidates, their overall performance etc. Hence, you need to wait for the official rank list to be released by the institute.

Hello Nagar, Your board exam percentage is good enough to secure a seat at Sastra university. But there are only less chances under stream 1. You can expect a seat through stream 2. The branch which you can get is difficult to say since the competition is too high. Hence you can try your best to get the branch you wish for. All the best!
