Percentage marks of 12th + NATA score/2
Example: You have scored 108 marks in NATA and 12th score is around 77.69%, your score will be as under:
77.69+108/2
=77.69+54
=131.69
Once the averaging process in done a rank list in the order of the highest score to the lowest score will be announced and colleges will be allotted to the candidate based on his/her list of choices.

Hello,
To score 90 percentile in JEE Mains is quite good. I am sure with this percentile a student will get a seat in his desired NIT and definitely in one of the NIT's. As a matter of fact with this percentile the student will be clearing JEE Mains and will be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced also. With this in mind the student should not be contented to accept the seat in NIT but study well and bid for a seat in IIT by clearing JEE Advanced. Best wishes to you for your preparation and clearance in JEE Advanced.

Hello Sanskriti,
Yes, your information is absolutely right. IPU has decided to utilize ranking of students in JEE Mains exam to give admission to students in their engineering courses. This had helped students to avoid preparing and appearing for one more entrance exam and at the same time it has helped the university in avoiding all the hassles that are associated with conducting an entrance exam. In fact I am of the opinion that parents and students must exert pressure on the Govt. of India for having only one pan India entrance exam for engineering on the lines of NEET for medical courses.Best wishes to you.
