Hello,
It's good to see students are clear in their thought process which branch they have to go which examination they have to compete for. To tell you a specific course, books and coaching that you should use for 10th IIT foundation is tough to answer. Every year the course is changing so it not possible to answer any one book that alone could be prove beneficial to you and there's no point of wasting 1000s of money in books. No, you can't. According to CBSE rules you should be a 12th appearing student or 12th passed student to appear for JEE Mains. You have only 3 chances to appear for it, the 12th appearing year and the NEST two years after that forget JEE.

Nope, the engineering colleges here in Tamil Nadu admit students based on their 12th board marks (maths, physics and chemistry). To get into MIT once must score very highly in their respective board exams. The cutoff marks for students of Tamil Nadu varies from 197- 199 /200 depending on their preferred branch. However, when it comes to student from other state they have separate date for counselling with a slightly different cut off mark.
