It basically depends on several factors like are you from Delhi region or outside Delhi, do you have any reserved quota or not or do you have any subcategory reserved quota or not. If you are from general category and outside Delhi then rank above 230 240 is considered to be safe for getting a good branch in DTU but if you are from Delhi region then the marks above 180 is considered good for getting desired branch in DTU, moreover if you have any reserved quota then it is below 150 to be able to get a good branch in DTU so I would suggest you to look cutoff of different categories of previous year from DTU official site. All the best.

Since you are from OBC category, it is a bit easy for you to get CS. A score of 170 and above will get you CS if you are outside Delhi and a score of 140 above will get you CS, if you are from Delhi region for DTU.

Since you are not from Delhi region, it is going to be tough competition for you, the minimum marks that you should score for getting the branch automotive engineering is around 160 in JEE Mains examination, if you want branch like CS, then you should score above 200 to be on the safe side now after getting your result you have to apply for the JAC counselling to get admitted.

There are various exams for getting into this field, like the most important paper is the JEE Mains and after that there are various state technical entry exams. Some good private colleges also conduct their own exams in which you can apply if you can afford the fees.
