At undergraduate level, Bangalore Institute Of Technology (BIT) provides Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) to the candidates who wish to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The course is offered in nine different specializations for a duration of four years. In order to take admission, students need to pass in their 10+2 level or equivalent in concerned subjects with minimum required marks set by the college. The eligible candidates are then required to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by CBSE.

Sorry, but you won't be able to get into NITs with this rank. For NITs, you need a minimum CRL rank for 50 thousand. Above all, ranks are for eligibility of JEE Advance. Go for private colleges or either go for a drop.

If you are getting core branch in GSITS even after home state quota, then don't go for lower NIT's as then GSITS will be better. Things are not only dependent on the NITs, also, GSITS has mostly NIT type student quality and sincere curriculum. I would strongly recommend you to go for GSITS.

Uttarakhand Technical University will provide admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes based on the ranks/score secured by the candidates in JEE Main 2017. Thus, it is mandatory for aspirants to appear in the national level undergraduate engineering entrance exam. Hence UKTU required JEE marks and rank.
