Yes, you can get a seat in VSSUT happily. By looking at last year stats i.e. 2017, girls having ranks of 2lakhs in JEE mains have got mechanical engineering branch in VSSUT, so it might not be difficult for you to get a seat in VSSUT, as you have secured a good rank.

I guess 70% is good enough to GET admission in some good private engineering colleges. It would be a waste of time to give improvement in 12th and it's not even known that the aggregate would improve or not. If you give improvement, it would take another year, which is why it's better to try out some other engineering colleges.
