Hello Divi,
No, counselling us based on marks obtained in entrance exam. But of course from this year onwards there will be no entrance exam. Admissions and counselling will be based on marks obtained in class 12th marks only. Again, different reservations as per rules will be applicable.

VITEEE is compulsory for engineering aspirants who seek admission in VIT. However, there is no procedure to get direct admission in the second year. All the students selected through VIT Engineering Entrance Exam will be admitted to First Year through Centralized Counselling procedure. Regards.

Hello Jaimini, For cracking GATE or any such entrance exam, planning, making a schedule & sticking to it are the important things. Here, you start off with downloading the syllabus. Make timetable by assigning the time to each subject, time for exercise & yoga & also for hobbies. Start studying. After about 4-6 weeks start giving mock tests. This will tell you a lot. Based on this make changes in your timetable. That's it!

Dear Prasham,
(1) There is a certain age up to which you are eligible to sit for that exam. I think it is 21 years. So, plan accordingly.
(2) You can attempt the JEE exam utmost three times. It means, if you first appeared in 2017, then you again can apply for the two more consecutive years (i.e., 2018 & 2019). After that, you cannot apply.
Hope this helps.

Good luck.

Hello Suprajeet,
Admissions to engineering colleges in Odisha are based on JEE Mains results. Of course, the exam conducting authority makes a separate merit list of Odisha and admissions are based on this. If you appear for JEE Mains, then you will definitely score some marks, right? This will entitle you a rank for Odisha merit list. So, don't worry.

All the 3 subjects I.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are equally important and you have to work sufficiently on each of them. If you are competent enough to solve the questions from all the three subjects, try to gain expertise on your the strongest part/ favorite area.
Instead of learning new topics, try to revise already completed syllabus.
Prepare a proper study place and stick to it. Don't study in a haphazard manner.
You can plan in one of the following manners
You can study the 3 subjects daily by dividing the total study time.
You can study a particular subject for 1 or 2 days and change the subject after that.

Sorry, you can not apply for the IIT JEE until next year. Better you should try for the individual tests held by private colleges. There are some the best colleges which conduct exam for the selection of candidates like:
SRM University
Bits Pilani
VIT University
Kalinga
Manipal
Thapar University
Jaypee Noida etc.
Another option is if you want to take admission in IIT or NIT only than you have to wait for the next year.
Check the complete detail about the IIT JEE from the official website and be updated.
All the best.
