Hello Anuj,
You are eligible for appearing in IIT JEE 2018, but according to the eligibility criteria for admissions in various IITs, NITs and CFTIs you are not eligible for admission in these colleges. You need at least 75% in class 12th for being eligible to get admission in these colleges.
Do not worry, you can use your scorecard for admission in various good private colleges also. Many good colleges also take admissions on the basis of JEE Mains scorecard. So, don't lose hope.
Hope this will help you.
Best of luck.

Depends on the preparation level for the subjects in the manner in which VITEEE exam is conducted. You need to be strategically and specifically focused for the exam if you are serious about it.
And about being average or super intelligent, it doesn't matter if you make it happen smartly.
Don't under-estimate yourselves before time, keep working on it.

Hello Kancharla,
Firstly and importantly, please remember that no exam is difficult. It's our preparation that matters. Secondly, for GATE syllabus is that of graduation. How will you start preparing for it in 2nd year? My advice firstly concentrates on studying for graduation. After this only prepare for GATE.

Selection to national institutes is based on the cut-off marks scored by a candidate in JEE Mains and the structure of option entry. For the residents of Karnataka, seats may be available if NIT-K is given the first option in the entry. It also depends on the branch selected by the student.

Hello Shruti,
NIT's at Surathkal & Warangal are considered as premier NIT's. It's difficult to say about marks since in coming exam pattern of questions is likely to be different. But on other hand I feel a percentile of above 70 should get you admission.
